Arjen Mulder is a biologist and media theorist and has published several books of essays on the relationship between technical media, physical experiences and art. His books include Book for the Electronic Arts (2000), Understanding Media Theory: Language, Image, Sound, Behavior (2004), and From Image to Interaction: Meaning and Agency in the Arts (2010).

Zuraida Buter is a playful culture curator, founder of zo-ii, Playful Arts Festival co-founder and worldwide Executive Director of Global Game Jam. Zuraida actively contributes to the growth of the games community and play culture by lending her expertise in the curation, organisation and exhibition of games and play. She dedicates herself to recording, documenting and showcasing the shifts, changes and highlights of the medium as they occur, often acting as a bridge between communities.

Sander van der Vegte is a game developer in the broadest sense of the word. His fascination for games and the creation of game systems motivates him to be as broadly experienced as possible. Over the past 10+ years he has been involved in a multitude of projects ranging from small freeware productions to multi-­million dollar projects. He is now a multidisciplinary game developer with knowledge on design, art asset creation, programming and producing.

Ida Toft is a media artist, writer and digital designer. She creates games which explore new kinds of play and possibilities in digital technologies. As part of the Copenhagen Game Collective she organises game events and experimental collaborations and her work has been shown in exhibitions, conferences and urban games festivals in Europe and US.

Dajana Dimovska is CEO and Producer at KnapNok Games, a Copenhagen based game studio working on digital party games where players have to communicate, look at or even touch each other in order to play. Dajana is involved in creating and nurturing a diverse scene of game development in Denmark,  is a board member of the IGDA in Denmark and co-founder of Copenhagen Game Collective, with the agenda of developing and promoting experimental and underground games.

Sylvan Steenhuis is an Amsterdam based designer of interactive performances. After being exposed to Urban Games, during the Bachelor Interactive Performance Design and Games, he got hooked on public space and physical play. He went on to study this practice in his practice based research ‘Evoking Playfulness in Public Space by Ludic Intervention’ at the Master of Arts in Performance Design, Utrecht School of the Arts, Netherlands.

Sylvan Steenhuis

Preis earned a BFA at the Tyler School of Fine Arts, and has been the recipient of several artist residencies in Amsterdam, Rome, Berlin and Rotterdam. In 2010, he was nominated for the Illy Prize at Art Rotterdam and more recently has featured at the Twente Bienalle, Art Amsterdam, Design Week Istanbul and the Rotterdam International film festival while touring as a performance artist both independently and with his group, the Dogs of Shame.

Dansnest creates dance in public spaces. Its dancers besiege the street with dance shows for young and old, making dance visible outside the theatre too. Dansnest organises stage dance education for advanced amateur dancers by involving them in the creative process of a dance show and it helps them to further develop their talents in this field.
